chocolate chip cookies

ingredients:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 sticks butter or vegan margarine, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs or the 2 egg equivalent of egg replacer
instructions:
  1. in a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda, set aside.
  2. in a larger bowl mix butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. add eggs and blend till completely mixed.
  4. gradually add dry ingredients and blend until completely incorporated.
  5. bake at 375 for about 7-10 minutes depending on size, about 25-30 for cookie bars.
