strawberry ice cream


ingredients:
  • 2 pints of halved strawberries
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
instructions:
  1. put the strawberries on a cookie sheet, and freeze till solid.
  2. blend the berries till coursely chopped. use either a food processor or blender for this, a food processor works best.
  3. add sugar, and lemon juice.
  4. blend about 10 sec.
  5. with the machine running, add cream.
  6. after cream is added, make sure everything is being blended together and blend
  7. 5 sec. more.
  8. serve immediately..
  9. if it's too soft, put it in the freezer and check the consistancy occasionally till it's right.
